The IDTA@JSI project offers Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) materials and references for MDPH BIDLS-funded agencies offering PrEP services. IDTA@JSI supports providers to develop comprehensive, integrated services for people who are considering or already taking PrEP to reduce their risk of acquiring HIV.

2024 PrEP Webinar: Provider and Client Perspectives on PrEP Decision-making

In June 2024, the IDTA@JSI PrEP team hosted a webinar for BIDLS-funded providers with a focus on provider and client perspectives on PrEP decision-making. The webinar included a dynamic panel discussion with both PrEP providers and PrEP clients, representing three MA agencies.

2023 PrEP Webinar Series: Oral and Injectable PrEP

From April – June of 2023, the IDTA@JSI PrEP team hosted a webinar series for BIDLS-funded providers with a focus on injectable PrEP and oral PrEP. Session activities included presentations from guest subject matter experts and discussion opportunities. The topics for each session were:

  1. Understanding Injectable PrEP and Oral PrEP
  2. PrEP Financing and Payment
  3. PrEP Decision-Making: Client and Provider Communication
  4. Integrating PrEP Into Clinical, Non-Clinical, and Inter-agency Workflows

2021 PrEP Group Learning Series

In early 2021, IDTA@JSI PrEP team hosted a series of Group TA Learning Sessions for BIDLS-funded providers with a focus on PrEP implementation and service improvements. Session activities included panel discussions and breakout sessions. The topics for each session were:
